I've been buying
and selling on eBay since 2003 using different accounts
until I settled with the ForeverWoodwinds name.

I purchased a used Gemeinhardt flute from Forever Woodwinds on
E-bay and was very pleased at the condition of the instrument.
The pictures showing the different angles of the flute helped me to choose the right one.
It came with the original case plus they even added a cleaning rod, a couple of posters
and a fingering chart at no extra charge!
We are very happy with the purchase! - Michael & Liza McClanahan 9/30/08

Hi Suzan,
Just a note to let you know that the fife was in the mail today and I Could not be more
pleased, it's GREAT!
Your pictures were too good, I had to put on my reading glasses to even find that crack.
This is sort of an odd story, my wife & I are "antique" dealers, mostly we
buy junk and sell antiques.
As far as I am concerned an antique is over 100 years old, preferably hand made or limited
production.
Now people call stuff 45-50 years old antique.
Anyhow, a guy brought us a bunch of stuff that he wanted us to sell for him most of it we
sent back with him
but some of it we bought and some of it we agreed to show it around and try to sell for
him.
Among that second batch was a fife, supposedly Civil War, it had two what I believe are
called "cheater mouthpieces" clamped on it.
I took them both off and straightened them out and put the best one back on. I could
actually get some sound out of the thing, I was amazed!
I told Jude that if nobody wants to give $50.00 for this thing I'll buy it and we can fool
around with it, the first person we showed it to bought it for $100.00!
I was disappointed, and I still had the second mouthpiece so I started looking on eBay,
yours was the fourth one that I bid on.
It's almost identical to the one that we sold, the main difference is it was about three
inches shorter.
From what I have been able to find out most Civil War military marching fifes were trimmed
in white brass (German silver)
so I don't think the first one was Civil War, the ferrules on it were almost identical to
this one.
I left positive feedback for you with 5 star ratings, thank you for leaving positive
feedback for us.
Thanks Again,
Brent

Flute arrived this morning. Needless to say, I am very pleased.
If you ever have a Pearl flute with a silver head and offset g please let me know.
I actually purchased this flute just to see what a Pearl flute sounded like. I like it...
Thanks for a great flute and a very pleasant transaction!!

[in regards to a Pearl PH-7 headjoint I had for sale]
Dear foreverwoodwinds,
Hi,
I bought your Pearl student flute and love it. You emailed all kinds of great information
about heads for the flute.
Is this the flute head that you said you liked on your Dolce? I hope to get a new Pearl
flute head that is as easy to play as the student model you sold me.
I think that silver head makes the biggest difference on another flute that I have, but I
don't like it as much as the Pearl you sold me.
Good luck with the auction, I hope I'm lucky too!!! Ruth

Dear foreverwoodwinds,
I just wanted to update you on the flute I purchased from you in December.
Right now, it is my hands-down favorite flute - I have been playing it exclusively!
It has a wonderful tone, as was well worth the purchase!

[Antique flute photo]
Dear foreverwoodwinds,
Feedback done, A+++++. Item arrived today, quite safe and no water exposure.
Rained 16 inches, eh. We had 28 inches in 12 hours during Alicia a few years ago.
Flooded our yard and up to the second step of our pier and beam house.
Billions of damage in our nearby Texas Medical Center. Scary time, but hardly anyone
remembers.
Anyway, I'll enjoy the photo. Will always wonder who the cat is in the picture. (The guy,
that is - no felines.)
If we're ever in Florida, I'll try to look you up. Best regards, Larry
